E. Paul Jones was elected District Attorney for the 5th Judicial Circuit in 2004. He worked as an Assistant District Attorney under District Attorney Tom Young, Sr. from 1974 until 1980. He served as County Attorney for Tallapoosa County for 25 years as well as, practicing criminal and civil law in private practice for 30 years. Mr. Jones is a 1974 graduate of Jones School of Law and has previouly served as President of the Tallapoosa County Bar Association.
